Sr. Java Kotlin Developer

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Sr. Java Kotlin Developer. Position type:
Full-time, Contract (W2). Duration: 12+ months.

Location:

Minneapolis, MN – Remote.

As a Sr. Java Kotlin Developer, you will:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications using Java and Kotlin.
• Build and support RESTful APIs and backend services for enterprise-scale applications.
• Design and implement microservices-based architectures with a focus on scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Develop and maintain Kafka producers and consumers for event-driven applications and asynchronous processing.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA teams, and engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues while ensuring system stability and performance.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Software development experience with strong expertise in Java and Kotlin.
• Experience with messaging platforms, especially Apache Kafka, including producer and consumer implementation.
• Understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and event-driven design patterns.
• Experience building, integrating, and supporting REST APIs.

Pay Range*: $80 - $85 per hour
* Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
