• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications and backend services using Java
• Build, enhance, and optimize production systems for reliability and performance
• Implement metrics, dashboards, and monitoring tools to improve system visibility
• Apply sound software engineering and system design principles to develop effective solutions
• Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality technical solutions
• Drive projects through the entire software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment and ongoing support
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues in distributed environments

• Minimum 3 years’ professional experience in software development
• Hands-on expertise building backend applications in Java
• Experience supporting production applications or backend services
• Strong understanding of software architecture, object-oriented programming, and system design
• Proven record delivering software products or features to end users
• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with technical teams
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (preferred)

• Experience developing solutions that leverage AI technologies
• Background working in large-scale, distributed technology environments
• Prior experience at Amazon or similar high-growth tech companies
• Technical leadership or mentoring experience
