✈️ About the role
The Aviation Captain provides leadership and technical insight to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient transportation for company passengers worldwide. You will serve as Pilot in Command for complex locations and as Second in Command on higher‑risk international segments. You will be typed and qualified on at least one aircraft model, operate primarily within a designated continent, and occasionally fly as PIC outside that region.
🧭What you’ll do
- Act as Pilot in Command, exercising full authority for flight safety, regulatory compliance, and operational decision‑making.
- Serve as Second in Command on select high‑risk international flights, elevating crew coordination and risk management.
- Plan, brief, and execute missions end‑to‑end: performance, W&B, international procedures, permits, customs/immigration, and alternates.
- Lead the crew with exemplary CRM, SOP discipline, and clear communication to deliver a seamless passenger experience.
- Coordinate with dispatch, maintenance, and ground partners to optimize aircraft readiness and on‑time performance.
- Continuously assess operational risk, weather, and airfield conditions; adapt plans while maintaining safety margins.
- Uphold company standards as a subject matter expert and mentor across training, check events, and procedural enhancements.
- Maintain currency, records, and documentation in alignment with all applicable regulations and company policies.

Must reside in or relocate to the Minneapolis–St. Paul metro; this is a non‑commuting position - Type Rating:
Not required; company‑provided training and type rating as needed - Certificates accepted:
Open to FAA certificate holders
- 1,000+ hours in turbine aircraft (turbojet or turboprop)
- Previous jet type ratings
- Corporate/Business aviation experience with VIP service standards
- Operate in full compliance with all applicable aviation regulations and company policies.
- Model Just Culture principles, proactive hazard reporting, and disciplined checklist usage.
- Champion SOP adherence, stable approach criteria, and conservative operational decision‑making.
- Primary operating area within a designated continent, with occasional PIC assignments outside that region.
- International operations may include varied airspace, terrain, and airfield complexity.
- Trips can require multi‑day or extended time away from base.
