Position Purpose
The Non‑CDL Driver for Heritage Pool is responsible for operating a vehicle to transport goods, products, or materials to various destinations without the need for a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
Key Responsibilities- Safely and efficiently operate a non‑CDL vehicle, ensuring all products, goods, or materials reach their destinations.
- Perform pre‑ and post‑vehicle inspections and report any discrepancies.
- Load and unload the vehicle as required.
- Follow the delivery schedule and communicate any delays or issues promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery and pick‑up operations.
- Maintain accurate logs of all transport and vehicle maintenance.
This position will report directly to the Logistics Manager or Transportation Supervisor and has no direct reports.
Travel RequirementsThis position requires daily local travel with the occasional need for long‑distance travel.
Physical RequirementsThis role involves regular physical activity including lifting, loading, and unloading goods and long hours of driving. Candidates must be physically fit and able to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
Working ConditionsDrivers will work in a variety of weather conditions and must be comfortable driving in these conditions.
Minimum Qualifications- Possession of a valid state driver's license.
- Clean driving record.
- Familiarity with using navigation systems.
- Proficiency in English for communication regarding safety.
- Previous experience in driving or logistics.
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
Preferred EducationVocational or technical degree in transportation or a related field preferred.
Minimum Years Of Work Experience1–2 years of relevant driving experience.
CertificationsNo particular certifications required, but certifications in First Aid, CPR, or Safety Training are advantageous.

Base salary ranges from $19.00 to $20.91 per hour. Depending on the role, Associates may be eligible for overtime, performance‑based bonus programs, commissions, car allowances, automobile and fuel program, and reimbursement for travel expenses in accordance with company travel policy.
