International Logistics Senior Specialist - Yardbird

As the International Logistics Senior Specialist for Yardbird Outdoor Furniture, you'll handle all communication, tracking, invoicing, and maintenance of relationships with our international logistics service providers and Best Buy partners. You'll also be responsible for ensuring import compliance and continuous communication with internal partners throughout the inbound process.

• Manage all import and customs documents
• Partner with overseas factories to ensure best practice adherence for freight forwarder bookings
• Manage all freight forwarder, drayage, and customs broker relationships, communication, and strategy
• Audit all international freight related invoices, customs entries, and commercial invoices
• Oversee container receipt batching and landed cost application for inventory receipts
• Partner with the accounting team to maintain accurate assist costs and database for customs clearance

• 5 years of international logistics and trade compliance experience
• 2 years of experience negotiating with vendors and third parties
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• Strong problem‑solving skills and critical thinking
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to use Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel

• Current or prior licensed customs broker
• Experience with Microsoft Great Plains
• Understanding of overseas manufacturing and timelines
• 4 years of experience negotiating with vendors and third parties
