The primary purpose of this position is to assist with the daily management of the operations delivery staff.

• Effectively aid in managing the delivery operations team.
• Monitor delivery fleet using Mobile Cast and/or Roadnet.
• Recommend and/or perform performance management actions, including selection and hiring, transferring, discharging, assignment of work, and progressive discipline.
• Maintain driver attendance records, sick days, vacation, etc.
• Train drivers in safe driving, proper lifting techniques, and company delivery process and procedure.
• Regularly ride along with drivers and observe and coach to ensure proper customer service, productivity metric achievement, and safety practices.
• Oversee payroll related to attendance records and paid time off.
• Ensure DOT compliance, including safety requirements and drug screening.
• Verify and process daily delivery driver invoices, associated paperwork, returns, and collections in a timely and accurate manner.
• Interface with customers to solve discrepancies and problems, fostering a cohesive relationship.
• Collaborate with sales, warehouse, delivery, and customer service departments.
• Administer workers’ compensation, incentive, and safety programs.
• Responsibly handle beverage alcohol product.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or equivalent training and work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a related area.
• Proficient PC skills using MS Office and other computer programs, including presentation software.
• Results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills, diplomacy, discretion, and customer service skills.
• Ability to multi-task, work independently or within a team, pay attention to detail, and meet deadlines.
• Analytical and reporting skills.
• Sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume, team environment.

• Maintain a valid CDL license.

• Remain stationary at times, communicate, and operate a computer and telephone.
• Occasionally carry and lift up to 165 pounds.
• Occasionally reach overhead, squat, and bend.
• Frequently walk and stand for extended periods of time.

• Help coordinate the work of junior team members.
• Resolve varied, non-routine issues.
• Undertake analysis and investigation to solve issues.

• Salary Range: $54,600 - $74,025
• Eligible to participate in a bonus program; metrics and level of participation determined annually.
• Eligible for health care benefits, life insurance, time off benefits, and participation in the company’s 401(k) plan.
