What you will do:

• This position requires the driver to travel regionally to work at various locations as needed.
• Perform multi‑stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships.
• Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages.
• Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered.

Schedule:

• Dispatch times will vary depending on work assignment.
• Drivers will travel to assigned location, and work from there for duration of work assignment.

For the purposes of this description, responsibilities include all duties associated with being a CDL Class A Truck Driver for Penske, which involve operating a tractor‑trailer, delivering parts and supplies, maintaining compliance with safety standards, and ensuring the accurate recording of deliveries.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence.
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non‑exempt interstate DOT medical card required.
• 1 year of documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last 5 years.
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
• English language proficiency.
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and operate safely, accepting responsibility for own and others’ safety.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to see and hear; specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Must be able to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit; use hands to touch, handle, and feel; reach with hands and arms.
• Must be able to lift/move up to 50 lbs/23 kg, occasionally up to 100 lbs/45 kg.
• Must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely enter/exit the vehicle and rear cargo area.
