Position Overview
CDL B Truck Driver – Local Routes
You will operate an automatic straight truck (12,000–20,000 lb. GVW) on local delivery routes, delivering cooking oil to commercial kitchens while ensuring safe, accurate deliveries and excellent customer service.
Shift DetailsAvailable Shift(s):
Wednesday – Saturday (4×10s), 6:00PM start time; 1 overnight/hotel stay per week.
Route type:
Local – no freight to move.
Safety‑first culture with meticulously maintained trucks.
Responsibilities- Safely connect to truck hoses to customer oil tanks to load/unload cooking oil.
- Use company‑issued iPhone apps for route tracking, invoicing, and compliance.
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with customers to meet their needs.
- Monitor tank levels to avoid oil outs and ensure seamless service.
- Always uphold DOT, OSHA, and HACCP safety standards.
- Minimum Requirements
- At least 21 years old.
- Valid CDL Class A or B with Tanker Endorsement.
- Able to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks (climbing ladders, bending, twisting, etc.).
- Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2+ years of CDL‑regulated driving experience.
- Bilingual.
- Comfortable using hand tools and performing basic troubleshooting.
- Safe Driving Record (Past 36 months):
Limited or no MVR moving violations or PSP report violations. - Zero Tolerance (Past 5 years):
No DUI/DWI convictions;
No speeding over 100mph. - Drug & Alcohol Compliance:
Must pass a DOT pre‑employment drug screen and be subject to DOT random testing after hire.
- Base pay: $30 per hour plus shift differential.
- Quarterly bonus up to $5,200 per year.
- Opportunities to increase base pay with tenure and level‑up development programs.
