Position Summary

U.S. Auto Force, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., has more than 100 years of experience as an industry leader in the distribution of tires, undercar parts, and lubricants to independent tire retailers, auto repair shops, and automotive dealerships. The schedule for this position is Sunday 9:30 am to 1:30 pm and Monday‑Friday 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm, approximately 4 hours per day. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs and may require overtime.

Job Responsibilities
  • Drive a box truck or semi during assigned routes, making 10–20 deliveries per day.
  • Keep complete and accurate records and logs of all driving and deliveries.
  • Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
  • Lift 50 pounds consistently throughout the shift and occasionally up to 80 pounds; use mechanical equipment or team lifts for commercial tires.
  • Exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds when handling barrels or industrial/agricultural tires.
  • Assist in loading/unloading trucks when needed.
  • Drive to customer locations to deliver orders promptly and safely in all weather conditions.
  • Expect to work approximately 8–12 hours per day.
  • Operate a handheld device provided and ensure all deliveries are fulfilled.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management.
  • Perform other job‑related tasks and follow supervisor instructions as directed.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to lift products weighing up to approximately 50 pounds, occasionally up to 80 pounds, and exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds. The job requires handling commercial tires (e.g., rolling, destacking, team lifting) and use of mechanical equipment. Protective equipment required: steel or composite toe boots, safety vest, safety harness, seatbelt, and SRL (self‑retracting lifeline).

All equipment is provided by U.S. Auto Force except for steel/composite toe boots. The work environment may expose employees to weather conditions, moderate noise levels, and fumes associated with tires, car parts, and lubricants.

Qualifications
  • Must be 23 years or older.
  • Must possess a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) B and a good driving record in compliance with our driver policy.
  • At least 2 years of commercial motor vehicle driving experience (Class A or

    B) and satisfactory completion of a company road test.
  • Ability to be trained and safely use powered industrial trucks (forklifts) and high‑reach lifts as required.
  • Ability to safely lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds.
  • Ability to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Successfully pass a pre‑employment drug test.
  • Valid DOT Medical Card per DOT/FMCSA guidelines.
