It’s about customer service and building relationships with your accounts. When you drive for Penske, you represent both Penske and your clients, often driving their branded trucks and wearing their uniforms.
You’ll have ample training opportunities and our locations across the nation let you move to a new city. Qualifications- Valid Class A CDL is required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence.
- Must hold, or be able to obtain, a non‑exempt interstate DOT medical card.
- One year of documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last 3 years, or two years in the past 5 years.
- 3 years of DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
- Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards and guidelines.
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential.
- English language proficiency, in compliance with 49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2).
- Work the required schedule, work at the specified location, complete Penske employment application, submit to background investigation and drug screening.
- This position is DOT‑regulated or designated as safety‑sensitive; requires constant alertness and safe operation.
- Must be able to see and hear. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Must be able to move frequently, stand, walk, sit, use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) regularly, and up to 100 lbs (45 kg) occasionally.
- Must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely enter/exit the vehicle and rear cargo area.
