Class A CDL Driver

Job Details

Base Pay starts at $28.00 per hour.

Shift: Full-Time, Monday through Friday, weekends home.

The Driver will transport and deliver building materials to customers, distribution centers, and construction job sites using a tractor‑trailer. The role requires safe driving, delivery, and customer service skills.

• Deliver material in route truck/multi‑drop fashion to destinations in accordance with Federal regulations.
• Apply knowledge of commercial driving and maneuver vehicle at varying speeds in difficult situations such as heavy traffic, inclement weather, or tight loading dock areas.
• Maintain records required for compliance with State and Federal regulations including driver logs, fuel purchases, mileage records, and other required documents.
• Perform all duties in accordance with company policies, procedures, and Federal, State, and local regulations for safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle.
• Answer customer questions regarding packing lists, invoices, packaging, and material content; direct to appropriate contact if unable to answer.
• Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections.
• Maintain cleanliness and integrity of vehicle and equipment.
• Immediately report repairs and/or maintenance needed.
• Actively ensure compliance with DOT guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• At least 2 years of commercial truck driving experience (including equivalent Military DD214 experience).
• At least 1 year of flatbed experience.
• Clean driving record.
• Willing to strap flatbed loads.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.
• Multi‑drop delivery experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently or with a team.
• Ability to plan and manage time efficiently.
• Ability to work safely throughout the day and prevent unsafe conditions.
