Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner;
Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to DOT regulations;
Drives a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate local, over-the-road, shuttle, and overnight routes to deliver and unload food and related products;
Verifies delivery with customer and obtains proper signatures; handles cash or checks where required;
Completes daily hours-of-service logs and maintains general housekeeping and safety practices
