School Bus Aide

Location:

Richfield, MN Pay: $20/hr with full benefits

What You'll Do As a School Bus Aide, you will play an important role in ensuring students have a safe, comfortable, and positive transportation experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist students as they board and exit the school bus safely.
  • Help maintain a calm, respectful, and secure environment during transportation.
  • Support students with special needs and mobility challenges as needed.
  • Ensure students are properly seated and following safety procedures.
  • Communicate respectfully with students, parents, drivers, and school personnel.
  • Monitor student behavior and report concerns when appropriate.
  • Assist the driver in responding to emergencies and following established safety procedures.
  • Perform pre- and post-route safety checks as directed.
Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age. Ability to work split shifts (morning and afternoon routes). Experience working with children is preferred but not required. Experience supporting individuals with disabilities is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to pass required background checks and pre-employment screenings.
