We are looking for a dependable Dispatcher to support fleet operations in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This Long-term Contract position plays a key role in keeping deliveries on schedule, maintaining strong communication with drivers and internal teams, and helping ensure equipment and transportation activity meet safety and regulatory expectations. The ideal candidate brings logistics or transportation experience, stays organized under pressure, and can manage overnight operations with professionalism and sound judgment.

Responsibilities:

- Plan and assign loads in a way that improves route efficiency, supports on-time service, and helps control operating costs.

- Coordinate driver schedules and equipment availability to ensure daily transportation needs are covered effectively.

- Work closely with drivers and maintenance personnel to address service needs and keep vehicles ready for safe operation.

- Track driver activity and shipment progress throughout the shift to support timely and compliant deliveries.

- Serve as a communication link among drivers, terminal leadership, and customer service teams to resolve issues quickly.

- Oversee the use of fleet assets within the district to promote productivity and dependable service levels.

- Support compliance efforts by confirming drivers follow transportation policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations.

- Handle administrative or operational support tasks during lower-volume overnight periods as needed.

Requirements - High school diploma or equivalent required.

- At least 2 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or a related dispatch environment.

- Prior leadership or team coordination experience of 1 to 2 years required.

- Working knowledge of dispatching, logistics coordination, and customer service processes.

- Comfortable using computer-based dispatch or scheduling systems in a fast-paced setting.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to changing conditions.

- Dependable judgment and accountability, especially when working overnight operations with limited supervision.

- Ability to perform office-based physical tasks, including extended computer use and occasional lifting of supplies up to 25 pounds. Talent Match®
