Position Summary:We’re seeking an individual with practical day to day warehouse experience that can apply your analytical knowledge on a larger scale to our multiple locations. Looking for someone that is the “go to” person and has an interest in learning more and sharing that knowledge.
In this corporate position, you will need to review reports, educate and ensure procedural compliance at our many locations along with other operational needs
Essential Functions:- Adapt to the many operational needs of our business, multiple locations, and how sales and warehousing works together
- Review, educate, and ensure branch compliance with policies, procedures, and inventory integrity
- Review and analyze reports related to warehouse productivity, inventory, etc.
- Must have a solid knowledgebase of general warehouse shipping, receiving, and a WMS system (Warehouse Management System with RF handheld scanners)
- Collaborate with various departments such as purchasing, accounts payable, and warehousing to help aid in developing solutions for the operational challenges
- Profit-minded approach:
Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies, and cost reductions and collaborate with the relevant stakeholders to implement appropriate changes - Must have 3+ years experience in a warehouse in our industry (building materials, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.)
- Warehouse Management Software experience required (WMS with RF handheld scanners)
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management or Supply Chain Management preferred, or significant industry experience in an operational position
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., Infor Cloud Suite Distribution, Epicor Prophet
21, Oracle Net Suite) - Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
