Job Overview
Ziegler CAT is hiring a Warehouse Person for our Bloomington branch to assist with shipping, receiving, parts inventory, and walk-in customer service. The shift is 2nd Shift, 3:30pm–12:00am (Monday–Friday) with a $1.45 shift differential.
Responsibilities- Fill and prepare orders for shipment and inventory.
- Receive parts and backorder parts.
- Fill orders with materials from stock locations.
- Manage bin and parts locations, verify inventory records, address discrepancies.
- Determine appropriate mode of transportation for parts shipment.
- Assess equipment, tools, and environment to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts.
- Perform counter sales and answer phones as needed.
- Work collaboratively on a team.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Proficient forklift operation.
- 2+ years of warehouse experience.
- Basic computer skills.
- Dependable, attention to detail, positive attitude, efficient, team player, problem solver.
- Experience with diesel engines, heavy equipment, agriculture, or automotive is a plus.
Physical Requirements
Push/pull up to 10lbs; lift/carry up to 50lbs; lift bulky objects; standing, walking, using hands, talking, hearing, neck and trunk rotation; stair and ladder climbing; repetitive bending, kneeling, sustained squatting, forward and overhead reaching, supine overhead reaching, crawling, bin lift, high steps, fingering/grasping; use bolt box. Working conditions may be indoor and/or outdoor; noise level may be loud at times.
Benefits- Competitive pay: $19.50–$28.00 per hour, dependent on skills, experience, and location.
