Material Handler
This role provides essential support to daily warehouse operations by handling materials, filling totes with product, maintaining a clean and safe facility using industrial scrubber equipment, and assisting with inventory and shipping activities. The position is ideal for someone who is comfortable working independently, operating warehouse equipment, and thriving in a fast-paced environment that prioritizes safety, accuracy, and efficiency.
Responsibilities- Handle and move materials throughout the warehouse safely and efficiently.
- Fill totes with product according to established procedures and accuracy standards.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, including operating industrial scrubber equipment to keep floors and work areas clean.
- Assist with inventory activities such as counting, tracking, and organizing stock.
- Support shipping operations by loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- Use RF scanners to pick, pack, and track products and materials.
- Perform picking and packing tasks to fulfill orders accurately and on time.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Work independently while meeting productivity, quality, and safety expectations in a fast-paced environment.
- Minimum 6 months of forklift experience, with sit-down forklift experience preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- 1+ year of experience using RF scanners for picking, packing, and inventory tasks.
- Basic computer literacy to operate warehouse systems and RF scanning equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, physically intensive environment with frequent lifting, bending, and standing.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety.
- Strong attention to detail when handling materials, filling totes, and processing inventory.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience loading and unloading trucks in a warehouse setting.
- Familiarity with inventory processes, including picking, packing, and stock organization.
- Forklift certification and safety training are highly beneficial.
- Ability to operate industrial scrubber equipment or willingness to learn.
- Steel-toe boots required as part of standard safety attire.
- Strong work ethic and reliability, with the ability to support overtime needs.
- Comfort working in environments that may be cold during winter months due to open dock doors.

Work EnvironmentThe role is based in a clean, well-lit warehouse operating primarily from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with approximately 5 hours of overtime per week. The work is fast-paced and physically intensive, involving frequent lifting, bending, and standing throughout the shift. Team members may experience cold temperatures during winter months due to open dock doors. Standard safety attire includes steel-toe boots, and employees regularly use warehouse equipment such as forklifts, RF scanners, and industrial scrubbers in a structured, safety-focused environment.
JobType & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Hope, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
