Pay Range: $18.40 - $25.30
Position SummaryWarehouse Picker Packers assist with filling orders in a warehouse setting. They pick and pack goods as part of the Supply Chain team, working in conjunction with Supply Chain management. The picker‑packer ensures accurate delivery of finished goods, performs quality inspections, assists with restocking, unloads trucks, maintains organization, and performs additional duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities- Use mobile devices to pick finished goods products based on work orders, product location, item, and quantity.
- Ensure that orders are picked and packed accurately; perform quality inspections as instructed.
- Stage items correctly for packing and shipping.
- Box up, shrink‑wrap, label and package shipments as required.
- Replenish floor stock of shipping materials using pallet jacks while ensuring safety regulations are followed.
- Maintain and organize product storage areas (coolers, freezers, shelves).
- Unload and load materials to/from vendor vehicles as needed.
- Ensure warehouse goals are met.
- Assist with putting inventory into locations for order fulfillment as needed.
- Follow company policies and practices as outlined in the handbook and safety manuals.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse processes.
- Basic knowledge of mathematics.
- Proficient in basic computer programs.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time.
- Ability to work in coolers and freezers for periods of time.
- Ability to act independently and with a team on routine assignments and projects.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and high‑level performance.
- Flexibility to work hours that conform to business operations.
- Problem‑solving ability, including identifying issues and bringing them to management.
- Skills to accurately pick and pack products for shipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) with 0‑2 years of warehouse/shipping experience.
- Attention to detail to ensure orders are accurate.
- Independent and team work capabilities.
- Working knowledge of basic computer programs and typing skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, multitask, and communicate effectively.
