Corner Home Medical is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Purchaser to support purchasing operations, inventory management, and warehouse functions. This role works closely with the Purchasing & Warehouse Area Manager and the Purchasing Lead to ensure inventory accuracy, timely order processing, supplier communication, and efficient product flow throughout the organization. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly organized, and is committed to delivering excellent internal and external customer service.

Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with CHM management and personnel to support company goals and culture.
- Maintain positive and effective relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
- Promote and uphold the Corner Home Medical brand, reputation, and commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Process purchasing paperwork, log outgoing orders, select appropriate delivery methods, and coordinate shipping activities.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels for assigned product categories.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies with manufacturers and suppliers.
- Arrange return authorizations and process defective equipment returns when necessary.
- Maintain and file purchase orders, inventory transfers, and other purchasing documentation.
- Assist warehouse personnel with inventory duties, including physical inventory counts and inventory data entry.
- Print, update, and maintain back-order reports and related invoices.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Purchasing and Warehouse Area Manager and Purchasing Lead.
- Maintain current product literature and resource files.
- Update purchasing and inventory records within company systems.
- Label, organize, and assign inventory to proper warehouse locations.
- Participate in company and vendor-sponsored training programs.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous purchasing experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong computer proficiency and ability to learn inventory and purchasing systems.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
- Positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to attend vendor and company-sponsored training and complete required DME training courses.
- Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Dependable, motivated, and committed to continuous learning and improvement.
