Material Handler

This role supports a variety of warehouse operations, including material handling, shipping and receiving, and general production tasks. You will work across multiple departments, adapt to changing daily assignments, and help ensure products more efficiently and accurately through the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Work in different warehouse departments as needed and adapt to changing assignments each day.
• Pick and pack orders accurately using pick sheets to ensure correct items and quantities are processed.
• Use RF scanners to locate, scan, and track inventory throughout the warehouse.
• Build pallets and break down boxes to prepare products for storage, shipment, or redistribution.
• Operate pallet jacks safely to move materials and products throughout the facility.
• Drive reach trucks, stand-up forklifts, sit-down forklifts, and tuggers when assigned and if qualified.
• Load and unload trucks using lifts, pallet jacks, or by hand, depending on the shipment and equipment available.
• Support shipping and receiving activities by working at dock doors, staging product, and preparing shipments.
• Use the warehouse ERP system (Epicor) for shipping and receiving tasks, including basic computer data entry, when assigned.
• Assist with general production and warehouse distribution tasks to maintain steady workflow and meet operational goals.
• Follow all safety procedures, maintain a clean and organized work area, and handle materials with care.

Work Environment:

The warehouse operates in a fast-paced environment that remains clean and organized, supporting safe and efficient operations. You will work primarily on a 1st shift schedule from 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a shift differential available for applicable shifts. The facility uses equipment such as RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts (reach, stand-up, sit-down), and tuggers, as well as an ERP system (Epicor) to manage inventory and shipping activities.

You can expect a hands-on, physically active role in a structured warehouse setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brooklyn Park, MN.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $25.50/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
