Shipping, Receiving & Order Fulfillment Associate
The Shipping, Receiving & Order Fulfillment Associate plays a critical role in supporting operational efficiency and company growth by ensuring the accurate and timely processing of inbound and outbound shipments. This position is responsible for maintaining inventory integrity within the Sage 100 ERP system while performing essential warehouse functions including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and general logistics support.
This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role requires a background check.
Duties and Responsibilities- Pick, pack, and ship small parcel and freight orders in accordance with company accuracy and quality standards
- Prepare shipping documentation and labels
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed
- Communicate with domestic and international clients regarding order and shipment status.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders
- Process delivered goods accurately and in a timely manner
- Verify returned items against RGA authorizations and documentation
- Report discrepancies or damaged materials to appropriate personnel
- Receive and document incoming inventory using Sage 100 ERP
- Complete inventory transactions including transfers, adjustments, and product completions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records
- Monitor and maintain adequate levels of shipping and warehouse supplies
- Ensure precise data entry to support reliable inventory reporting
- Enter shipping and receiving data accurately into internal systems
- Communicate professionally with domestic and international customers regarding order and shipment status
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational needs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Assist with additional warehouse duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications
Physically active role in a warehouse environment
Ability to stand, bend, and lift throughout the shift
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. unassisted
Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment in compliance with company and safety standards
A background check will be completed prior to hire.
High school diploma or equivalent required
Prior experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing, or order fulfillment
Working knowledge of ERP systems (Sage 100 experience preferred)
Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks
