Job OverviewThe Value You’ll Bring To The Team includes overseeing staff performance, managing staffing, hiring, orientation, and discipline, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment; managing budgets, maintaining appropriate staffing, understanding healthcare finance; leading support for performance and quality improvement initiatives, implementing evidence-based practice changes, ensuring compliance with professional standards and hospital policies; utilizing critical thinking and technology in decision‑making, problem‑solving, integrating new systems;
providing strong leadership and mentorship, ensuring high‑quality clinical care, supporting staff development, maintaining clear communication and planning for patient care delivery; encouraging interdisciplinary collaboration and maintaining positive relationships with patients, staff, vendors, and other departments for patient‑centered care.
- Oversees staff performance, manages staffing, hiring, orientation, and discipline, while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Manages budgets and resources, maintains appropriate staffing and understands healthcare finance.

- Demonstrates the ability to lead Performance Improvement initiatives on their assigned unit.
- Demonstrates ability to think critically and utilize technology in relation to the operations of the unit and delivery of patient care.
- Demonstrates leadership and clinical practice knowledge.
- Demonstrates good communication and relationship building skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in understandable terms to all levels of staff.
- Ability to work in a matrix‑management environment to achieve organizational goals.
- Knowledge of broad clinical nursing.
- Ability to develop and mentor others to their optimum levels of skill and professionalism.
- Ability to include evidence‑based practice standards for care delivery in their area of specialty.
- Bachelor’s of Nursing (Required)
- Master’s of Nursing (Preferred)
- 2+ years of acute care clinical experience in a hospital setting.
- 1+ years of management experience in a hospital setting.
- Registered Nurse (RN) (Required)
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) (Required)
