We are hiring an Accounts Payable Manager to lead a high‑visibility function that supports operations across the organization. This role will oversee end‑to‑end AP processes, manage a team, and play a key part in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in a fast‑moving environment. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you will drive both execution and improvement, while partnering cross‑functionally with teams across the business.
ResponsibilitiesAccounts Payable Operations
- Oversee invoice processing, vendor payments, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Manage vendor relationships and maintain vendor master data integrity
- Lead check runs and ensure compliance with internal policies
- Monitor and resolve discrepancies, including received not vouchered transactions
- Issue 1099s and support month‑end close activities
- Track and report key AP metrics
- Administer procurement and fuel card programs, including onboarding, controls, and audits
- Manage card access, limits, and compliance with company policies
- Lead, coach, and develop an AP team
- Establish team goals and performance expectations
- Cross‑train staff to build flexibility and coverage
- Conduct performance reviews and ongoing feedback sessions
- Ensure adherence to GAAP and SOX requirements
- Support internal and external audits
- Maintain documentation and process controls
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Use metrics and data to drive efficiency and scalability
- Lead initiatives to enhance workflows and systems
- 2+ years of leadership experience in accounts payable or related accounting function
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAP and SOX environments
- Experience with ERP systems (JD Edwards preferred)
- Advanced communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
