This position can be part-time (20 hours per week) during the off-season and work up to full-time hours January-April, dependent on the experience you are able to bring and workload. This position is in-office and this person will want to support the office wearing multiple hats and enjoy working within a small team.
If You Enjoy- Preparation/review of partnership, S-Corp, C-Corp, individual, trust/estate tax returns.
- Communicating with clients as a trusted advisor regarding tax compliance and planning.
- Corresponding with taxing authorities regarding tax notices as needed.
- Performing tax research and staying current on latest federal and state tax law changes.
- Assisting with office coverage as needed due to small office environment.
- CPA license or EA is highly preferred.
- A minimum three years of experience.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple client engagements.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
