Payroll Manager

Treasure Island Resort & Casino seeks a Payroll Manager to lead end-to-end payroll for hourly and salaried team members in a fast-paced resort and casino environment. You will manage bi-weekly payroll processing, ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with federal, state, tribal, and gaming regulations, and oversee payroll tax reporting and reconciliations. Partnering with HR and Finance, you will resolve payroll issues, maintain internal controls, support audits, and drive process improvements.

You'll lead and mentor payroll staff, supporting our guest-first, team-oriented culture while safeguarding sensitive data and enhancing payroll efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end bi-weekly payroll processing for hourly and salaried employees
• Ensure compliance with federal, Minnesota, tribal, and gaming payroll regulations
• Oversee payroll tax calculations, filings, and reconciliations
• Maintain accurate employee earnings, deductions, and timekeeping data
• Develop, document, and enforce payroll policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Support internal and external payroll audits and respond to inquiries
• Partner with HR and Finance to resolve payroll issues and improve data integrity
• Analyze payroll data, prepare reports, and support budgeting and forecasting
• Identify and implement payroll process improvements and system enhancements
• Supervise, train, and mentor payroll staff while safeguarding confidential data
