Payroll Specialist

Treasure Island Resort & Casino seeks a Payroll Specialist to process accurate, timely payroll for a high-volume hospitality and gaming workforce. In this on-site role, you'll manage bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried team members, validate timesheets, tips, and differentials, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and tribal regulations. You'll maintain HRIS/payroll records, handle taxes, deductions, and garnishments, reconcile reports, and respond to employee inquiries with professionalism and discretion, supporting our guest-first, team-oriented culture and providing reliable payroll support to HR and Finance.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried team members across multiple departments and shifts
• Validate timesheets, tips, differentials, and adjustments for accuracy and policy compliance
• Maintain employee payroll records in HRIS/payroll systems and update changes promptly
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and tribal wage, hour, and tax regulations
• Calculate and process taxes, deductions, garnishments, and benefits contributions
• Reconcile payroll reports, identify discrepancies, and resolve errors quickly
• Prepare standard and ad hoc payroll reports for HR, Finance, and management
• Respond to employee payroll questions while maintaining confidentiality and service focus
• Coordinate with HR and managers on new hires, terminations, and pay changes
• Support process improvements to enhance payroll accuracy and efficiency
