Salary:
Up to $75,000 DOE

Our client, a growing company in the South Metro, is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join their team. This position is an opportunity to get in on the ground-floor and position yourself for internal future career growth.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions (ie invoicing, credit cards, bank reconciliations, etc.)
• Assist in ensuring timely and accurate month-end reporting
• Support project life cycles, including front end set-up, invoicing, and making adjustments as scope/billing changes
• Ensure accounting records and supporting documentation are accurate and complete
• Contribute to year-end audit preparation, including gathering schedules, invoices, contracts, and other supporting documents
• Follow up on missing receipts, invoices, and supporting documentation
• Help improve accounting processes and procedures as the company grows
• Pitch in across departments to help support your fellow teams, encouraging strong collaboration

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting experience
• Manufacturing/construction industry experience strongly preferred
• Experience with AP, AR, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Self-starter who can work independently and improve processes
• Strong communication and organizational skills
