Grand View Lodge is looking for a detail-oriented, organized Staff Accountant to join our Accounting team. You'll manage the full receivables cycle; posting receipts, resolving discrepancies, maintaining accurate invoice records, and preparing reports; with the accuracy and confidentiality that resort accounting demands. • Secure revenue by verifying and posting receipts accurately and in a timely manner.
• Identify and resolve account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, customers, and internal departments.
• Summarize receivables by maintaining invoice accounts and coordinating monthly transfers to the receivable account.
• Verify totals and prepare reports ensuring accuracy at every step.
  
  Analyze invoice and expense reports and record entries in accordance with established procedures.
• Review data for Managed Property Accounting for accuracy and integrity.
• Prepare Monthly Statements for Managed Property unit owners.
• Member monthly billing.
• Protect company and guest confidentiality by handling all financial information with discretion and integrity.
• Cross-training with other team members
• Support the Accounting team with additional duties as assigned.

• Associate degree in Accounting plus relevant experience could be accepted in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
• Hospitality or resort accounting experience is highly preferred.
• Strong mathematical aptitude and ability to make accurate calculations; proficiency with 10-key and PC required.
• Advanced Excel skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet applications, and email.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, accuracy is non-negotiable in this role.
• Proven ability to manage time well, meet deadlines, and work flexible hours as needed.
• Strong problem-solving skills and composure under pressure; you find solutions and stay calm when it's busy.
