ABOUT THE JOB:

Are you a detail-orientated, naturally inquisitive and love legal jargon kind of person? Do you have a strong work ethic and organizational skills? If so, this position is for you! As a Document Specialist you will work directly with a team of dedicated individuals in our Media Department to help meet internal and external customer needs.

A DAY IN THE LIFE:
  • Review documents and affidavits for correctness and accuracy.
  • Gather underlying proof of debt documentation prior to endorsing on behalf of the company.
  • Work is performed in an office environment with personal computers, scanners, and printers.
  • Import or scan documents into the company's document management system.
  • Identify and classify documents according to characteristics defined by the unified court system.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies to include successful completion of an FDCPA assessment and computer-based training annually.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
  • High school diploma: business experience preferred, but not necessary.
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong analytical skills and critical reasoning.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Flexibility to perform varying work activities to meet business needs.
  • Ability to support change and recommend process improvements.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
