Automotive Master Technician - Chevrolet

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is looking for our next Automotive Master Technician. This position is located at Chevrolet of Wayzata and will be responsible for vehicle repair and maintenance as outlined on repair orders, in accordance with dealer and factory standards. The role builds customer loyalty by diagnosing vehicles effectively.

• Potential pay range of $80,000-$90,000 annually per union guidelines, including incentive-based pay.

• Perform vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to manage production and customer communication.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Adequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals, including employees and customers.
• Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins and participate in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate.
• Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintain an organized work area.
• Perform other duties assigned by manager.

• Automotive Service Technician experience.
• ASE certification desirable.
• Excellent customer service.
• Strong communication skills.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with company driving policy.
• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen in accordance with local/law regulations.
