The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is looking for our next Automotive Master Technician. This is an exciting opportunity in a growing, fast-paced industry located at Chevrolet of Wayzata. The Automotive Master Technician will be responsible for vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards, building customer loyalty by developing trust and ensuring confidence through effectively diagnosing vehicles.

• Potential pay range of $80,000–$100,000 annually per union guidelines, including incentive‑based pay.

• Perform vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards to drive customer loyalty.

• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and customer communication.

• Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform repair.

• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non‑mechanical individuals, which may include employees and customers.

• Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins and participate in factory‑sponsored training classes as appropriate.

• Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.

• Maintain an organized work area.

• Perform other duties assigned by manager.

• Automotive Service Technician experience.

• ASE certification desirable.

• Excellent customer service.

• Strong communication skills.

• Valid driver’s license.

• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy.

• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen in accordance with local and law regulations.
