Auto Technician Responsibilities
  • Attendance daily and on time (7:45 AM team meetings are required)
  • Time Management – Identify and resolve problems in a time-efficient manner
  • Problem Solving – Use diagnostic equipment to gather and analyze information
  • Use knowledge, skills, and experience to develop solutions and effect repair actions
  • Quality – Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness;
    Monitor own work to ensure quality
  • Following service center procedures for tracking repair status, maintaining technical documentation, and other necessary protocols
  • Conduct in-depth vehicle inspections of all systems, including engine, transmission, brakes, and routine maintenance
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business
  • Perform other related or unrelated duties as assigned or requested
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • An associate degree or completion of an automotive service technician training program is preferred
  • Automotive Service Excellence/ASE certification or Society of Automotive Engineers/SAE certification is preferred
  • Strong customer service and communications skills are required
