Auto Technician Responsibilities- Attendance daily and on time (7:45 AM team meetings are required)
- Time Management – Identify and resolve problems in a time-efficient manner
- Problem Solving – Use diagnostic equipment to gather and analyze information
- Use knowledge, skills, and experience to develop solutions and effect repair actions
- Quality – Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness;
Monitor own work to ensure quality - Following service center procedures for tracking repair status, maintaining technical documentation, and other necessary protocols
- Conduct in-depth vehicle inspections of all systems, including engine, transmission, brakes, and routine maintenance
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business
- Perform other related or unrelated duties as assigned or requested
- High school diploma or GED is required
- An associate degree or completion of an automotive service technician training program is preferred
- Automotive Service Excellence/ASE certification or Society of Automotive Engineers/SAE certification is preferred
- Strong customer service and communications skills are required
