Summary of PositionAssists in merchandising functions related to product setup, price & cost updates, product issues and store quotes. This position will interact cross-functionally with merchandising, product development, purchasing, marketing & retail to complete various tasks.
Major Areas of Accountability- Assist in the item setup process
- Inventory item coverage maintenance (DAX).
- Daily SKU maintenance in DAX. Examples are vendor parts numbers, barcodes, and taxonomies.
- Manages Merchandising Support Tickets, working with merchants as needed.
- Manages "Misc. Shipping Charges" field in DAX, and follows up with the catalog and internet to align.
- Assists in customer care resolutions for our teams as needed.
- Assists and coordinates numerous projects and workflows for category managers.
- Assists with data analysis tasks as needed.
- Assists with product issues & Store Quotes
- Creates Merchandising Product Review (MPR) and New Product PO Approval meeting agendas
- Other duties as assigned.
- This is a Hybrid full-time role, 3 days in the office per week (M,T,W)
- Must be a Local Candidate
- High School diploma or general education degree (G.E.D.) - College degree preferred.
- Some purchasing, merchandising, or related experience desired.
- Ability to multi-task and work effectively with the pressure of time constraints and deadlines.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Knowledge of data entry, and capable of pulling and organizing data.
- Strong communication and prioritization skills.
- Must be detail-orientated and self-driven to maintain high productivity.
- Excellent follow-up and follow-through capabilities.
