Our internship program provides students with meaningful, hands‑on work experience, professional development opportunities, and exposure to real business challenges that contribute directly to Andersen's success.
We're seeking a dynamic and motivated student to join our sustainability team for the summer. This internship will support our product pillar, providing hands‑on experience in sustainability within a corporate setting.
Responsibilities- Lead data collection, validation, analysis, and reporting for sustainability metrics (e.g. GHG emissions, energy use, waste, water)
- Map and analyze material flows and across operations
- Identify high-impact opportunities for material or energy reduction
- Support external‑facing documentation and communications about sustainability
- Benchmark industry best practices and emerging trends in sustainability
- Prepare internal reports and presentations for leadership and stakeholders
- Enrolled in a Sustainability, Environmental Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field
- Familiarity with life cycle assessments, green building frameworks (e.g. LEED, Living Building Challenge, WELL, Passive House, etc.)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proactive mindset with a passion for environmental stewardship
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process. Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $22-$27.
