Job Summary
LSH Elementary is seeking responsible, energetic, and caring individuals to join our team as Playground/Recess Supervisors. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the safety and well-being of students during outdoor recess and playground activities.
Hours10:20 AM – 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and supervise students during recess times
- Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all students
- Promote positive behavior and resolve minor conflicts among students
- Assist with maintaining playground equipment and ensuring it is used appropriately
- Follow all school policies and procedures to ensure student safety
- Report any concerns or incidents to school staff
- Ability to work well with elementary-aged children
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and manage groups of children
- Reliable and punctual
- Previous experience in a school or childcare setting is a plus, but not required
