Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a positive environment and providing high-quality care to our students, reinforcing social emotional skills, supporting student needs and behaviors, as well as communicating with site leadership on student progress. The position requires flexibility as the placement will be determined by student needs. As an Inclusion Assistant you will Execute age-appropriate, stimulating activities Create a safe and nurturing learning environment Enforce policies and procedures set by the school Foster an atmosphere of respect and positive reinforcement We are looking for someone with the following qualifications Must have a high school diploma or equivalent Post-secondary education in child development, early childhood, or equivalent preferred Experience working with school aged children with special needs in a childcare or education setting is highly preferred Has a passion for working with young children and excellent knowledge of child development Has the physical abilities to perform the required job duties with or without accommodation Able to communicate effectively and build positive relationships with students, staff and caregivers Has documentation of U.S. citizenship or eligibility to work in the U.S. Must successfully meet our pre-employment background screening requirements
