Heavy Equipment Operators - Long Haul Travel Crew - Per Diem - Up to $36/hr - United States

Mas Tec Communications Group is seeking Heavy Equipment Operators for their Long Haul Travel Crew. Operators will work on utility construction projects across the U.S., developing new skills and working in a safety-focused environment. This role offers the opportunity to travel nationwide, operate a variety of heavy machinery, and contribute to expanding telecom infrastructure. The ideal candidate is experienced, safety-minded, and willing to travel extensively.

What You’ll Need
  • 2+ years of experience operating heavy equipment in utility or civil construction preferred
  • Experience operating dozers, Plowcat/Pullcat equipment strongly preferred
  • Ability to operate backhoes, trenchers, mini- and cable plows a plus
  • Strong understanding of safe excavation practices and utility locate interpretation
  • Ability to read and follow construction plans, utility maps, and field drawings
  • Experience working around underground utilities in active job sites
  • Willingness and ability to travel throughout U.S. 100% of the time and work 50+ hours per week as needed
  • Valid driver’s license with clean record past 3 years (CDL preferred)
What Will Make You Stand Out
  • Experience operating dozers, with specific experience on Plowcat/Pullcat equipment strongly preferred
  • 2+ years of experience operating heavy equipment in utility or civil construction preferred
