Overview
We are seeking a motivated Job Superintendent to join our team and lead construction projects from start to finish. This role is responsible for overseeing daily on‑site operations, coordinating subcontractors and job supervisors, maintaining project schedules, ensuring quality control, and promoting a safe and productive work environment. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent communication and organizational skills who can effectively manage multiple aspects of construction management while building positive relationships with clients, contractors, and team members.
Responsibilities- Provide onsite supervision and sub‑contractor management through the completion of Construction Management projects.
- Manage onsite job supervisors.
- Manage subcontractors.
- Schedule drawings and provide construction interpretations.
- Perform quality control.
- Prepare daily reports and project documentation.
- Handle customer relations.
- Ensure job site safety and work with the Safety Director to oversee site safety practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Effective use of time‑management skills.
- Good understanding of all phases of construction.
- Highly effective communication skills.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Computer skills with ongoing development to include Microsoft Office.
- Minimum of 10 years of construction experience preferred.
- Management or supervisory role experience desired.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
- Travel required.
The starting pay range for this position is $75,000 to $100,000 per year. Final compensation will depend on various factors including skills, experience, and location.
