Superintendent - Commercial Construction

The superintendent is responsible for overseeing production as well as the scheduling and coordination of all other on-site construction activities, safety programs and quality initiatives.

College degree in construction related field preferred - High School Diploma accepted.

Construction Means & Methods, Math and Complex Calculations, Critical Thinking as it applies to the breakdown and interpretation of Specifications and Plans, Critical Path Planning, Material Scheduling, Data Analysis, Organizational Methods, Writing Skills, Leadership and Communication.

Minimum 3 years relevant trade experience on commercial or industrial construction projects as a Foreman responsible for crew management, document review and production - or - post-secondary study resulting in Construction Management or Civil Engineering degree.

Microsoft Office Products, Basic knowledge of Scheduling Software, Total Station.

Proactive, trustworthy and organized leader with strong work ethic, well developed interpersonal skills and above average verbal communication ability.

Long term assignment to job site location which could be further than a reasonable commute distance from home.
