Our client is seeking a Traveling Safety Manager to help lead and maintain safety programs across multiple active construction projects. This position will work closely with project leadership and field teams to promote a strong safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and identify opportunities to continuously improve jobsite safety.

- Work on technically challenging projects involving underground utilities, pipelines, excavation, and heavy civil construction.

- 5+ years of construction safety experience, preferably within heavy civil, underground utilities, pipeline, or infrastructure construction.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and applicable federal, state, and local safety requirements.
- Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining construction safety programs.
- Experience conducting jobsite safety inspections, audits, investigations, and corrective action plans.
- Strong understanding of excavation and trenching safety, confined spaces, fall protection, heavy equipment, lifting operations, and underground utility construction.
- Ability to identify jobsite hazards and effectively communicate corrective actions to field personnel.
- Experience conducting safety orientations, toolbox talks, and employee training.
- Strong understanding of OSHA recordkeeping, incident reporting, and accident investigation procedures.
- Ability to work effectively with Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, subcontractors, and craft employees.
- Strong communication, organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- OSHA 30 certification required or strongly preferred.
- CSP, CHST, or other professional safety certification is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Safety, Construction Safety, Occupational Health, Construction Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and safety management/documentation systems.
- Ability to travel extensively to project locations and work in varying outdoor construction environments.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
