The Project Superintendent is responsible for on-site construction coordination, ensuring projects are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with contract documents and quality standards. This role serves as the primary field representative, managing daily operations, subcontractors, and jobsite performance.

The essential duties for this position include but are not limited to:

• Lead and coordinate daily construction activities across all trades and subcontractors.
• Develop and maintain short-term (lookahead) schedules aligned with the master project schedule.
• Coordinate labor, equipment, and materials to ensure efficient workflow and sequencing.
• Identify and resolve field issues, conflicts, and constraints impacting productivity.
• Establish and enforce jobsite rules, work hours, access control, and site logistics.
• Coordinate punch list development, tracking, and completion.
• Ensure timely completion of final inspections and corrective work.
• Support project turnover, documentation completion, and demobilization.

• Enforce all jobsite safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to safe work practices by all personnel.
• Conduct pre-task planning and job hazard analyses prior to critical activities.
• Lead safety meetings and reinforce a culture of safety accountability.
• Identify, document, and mitigate jobsite hazards in real time.

• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and approved submittals.
• Verify materials delivered to site meet project requirements prior to installation.
• Conduct inspections and oversee quality assurance/quality control processes.
• Coordinate mock-ups, testing, and third-party inspections as required.
• Maintain redline drawings and ensure all field changes are documented.

• Direct and coordinate subcontractor work to maintain schedule, quality, and safety standards.
• Conduct subcontractor meetings to align expectations and resolve coordination issues.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and enforce contract requirements.
• Ensure proper site housekeeping and professional jobsite conduct.

• Track daily production and progress against project milestones.
• Prepare and submit comprehensive daily reports including workforce, activities, site conditions, and issues.
• Lead or participate in coordination meetings and document key decisions and action items.
• Communicate schedule impacts and recovery plans to the Project Manager.
• Maintain accurate and current project documentation including reports, logs, and records.
• Facilitate Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, and field directives.
• Ensure proper documentation of delays, changes, and unforeseen conditions.
• Maintain organized jobsite files, including safety documentation and SDS records.

• Uphold company policies, procedures, and safety standards at all times.
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and strong working relationships.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support project and organizational objectives.
