Overview

Start Your Career with Citizens Alliance Bank! The Teller/Personal Banker position provides professional and knowledgeable assistance to all customers. The role handles daily transactions, accounts, inquiries, and promotes the bank’s products and services while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Process transactions through the teller platform, including cash verification, dispensing, deposits, and payments.
  • Assist with end‑of‑day processing and check imaging, ensuring accuracy before submission.
  • Provide account information, answer customer inquiries, and complete telephone transfers while complying with bank policies.
  • Open new deposit accounts, resolve account issues, and guide customers in accessing and managing their products.
  • Use effective selling techniques to promote and sell additional products and services, generating customer interest.
  • Conduct all customer interactions to complete required documentation in compliance with policy and banking regulations.
  • Service retail and business deposit accounts, promoting additional products and services.
  • Display knowledge and proficiency in the bank’s products and services to build long‑term relationships.
  • Proactively contact customers via telephone or in person to maintain relationships.
  • Keep current with the bank’s product offerings and customers’ financial needs.
  • Answer phones and coordinate with the Operations Help Desk for complex inquiries.
  • Verify account balances and provide information to customers; print statements as needed.
  • Maintain knowledge of internal service standards and departmental procedures.
  • Read, interpret, and apply appropriate policies and operating manuals.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive customer and proprietary information.
  • Remain standing or stationary 50% of the time and occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Exemplify core values, maintain punctuality, and attend trade and industry seminars as required.
  • Install and use a Multi‑Factor Authentication app on a mobile device for security purposes.
  • Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and guidance, including BSA/AML.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and requested.
Education and Experience
  • Required:

    High School diploma or GED.
  • Required:

    Continuing education to maintain job knowledge.
  • Preferred: 1–3 years of banking experience.
  • Preferred: 1–3 years of administrative or customer service experience.
  • Preferred:
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
