FRONT DESK AGENT (PM SHIFT)

Status:
Hourly, Non-Exempt

Reports to:

Director of Operations

Builds a first impression for the guests by providing punctual, courteous and efficient handling of requests, which include check-in and checkout, handling cashier registers, and answering calls.

Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.

Morning, evening, and weekend availability required. (Schedules posted at least two weeks in advance)

Occasional holiday or event-based coverage may be requested/required.

• Prioritize and organize work
• Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team
• Work with minimal supervision
• Greet customers in a friendly and sincere manner
• Check guests in and out in a professional manner
• Complete registration process working with a computer system
• Count money accurately and handle cash, cards, checks, vouchers vigilantly
• Transmit and receive messages using a telephone
• Provide satisfactory overall customer service
• Keep general areas indoor/outdoor clean and tidy
• Respond to guest inquiries in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
• Provide or obtain accurate information
• Other duties as assigned

• Ability to communicate in the English language
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
• Must be able to push/pull up to 100 pounds occasionally
• Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours
• Must be able to kneel, squat, bend, stoop and twist
• Adequately communicate with guests, management and co-workers
