Job Description:

Responsible for being the liaison between Leech Lake Gaming and its current and potential new guests. Accept ownership for effectively satisfying guest's requests & inquiries and assist in resolving guest's complaints and issues. Keep customer satisfaction as the core of their behavior.

• Manage large amounts of incoming calls in a timely manner.
• Follow communication 'scripts' when handling different topics.
• Booking of hotel room reservations and upsell when opportunities arise.
• Execute event and concert ticket sales.
• Coordinate RSVP's for marketing functions.
• Confirm requests for direct mail comped tickets.
• Communicate with management regarding issues pertaining to their department.
• Correctly answer all questions regarding current and upcoming promotions & events
• Maintain weekly call log.
• Attends all mandatory meetings and training.
• Maintains confidentiality at all times.
• Is sensitive to Native American Culture.
• Operates within the parameters of the Leech Lake Gaming Human Resource Policy, Departmental Policy Manual and all Tribal Internal Controls (TICs), and all other applicable regulations.
• Secures the assets of Leech Lake Gaming and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Must have strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening.
• Must have Guest Service focus and ability to adapt to different personality type.

• Possess good written communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including: weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.

• Physically capable of sitting for long periods of time.
• Subject to internal working conditions, including a smoking environment.

Education:

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).

Experience:

No experience required, though hotel, sales & receptionists skills would be preferred.

Must Have Strong Computer Skills

Certificates & Licenses:
Must meet Tribal/State compact licensing requirements, pass criminal Background check and submit to drug testing.
