Revit Technician MEP in Albertville, MN

Advanced Volumetric Alliance (AVA) is a volumetric off‑site building manufacturer that creates entire buildings in a factory environment. We focus on multi‑family living, senior living, and hospitality development sectors, manufacturing industry‑leading modular units in a 180,000 ft² state‑of‑the‑art facility in Albertville, Minnesota.

• Work with and complete general modeling utilizing REVIT.
• Develop production‑level drawings and Bill of Materials (BOM) takeoffs for residential and commercial projects to support production.
• Complete documentation on time to support production and engineering schedules.
• Guide allocation of engineering resources to assure accurate and timely product documentation.
• Maintain effective document control, including cloud‑based management and access, per department standards.
• Assist in model coordination with external consultants, architects, engineers, and suppliers as needed.
• Participate in the development of departmental standards, templates, and modeling standards.
• Follow modeling standards and department procedures to ensure consistency.
• Perform general administration of the document control process.
• Mentor junior team members and/or interns to ensure accurate, consistent work.
• Provide support to the production floor as requested.
• Other duties as assigned by department leadership.

• Residential and/or light commercial experience required.
• Strong structural (wood), mechanical, plumbing, and/or electrical modeling experience highly desired.
• Strong REVIT skill required; REVIT Certification preferred.
• Advanced CAD and BIM skills an advantage.
• AGA CAD experience highly desired.
• Experience with off‑site construction; modular, fenestration highly desired.
• Self‑motivated with good time management skills and ability to prioritize and execute multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong mentoring skill and openness to being mentored.

• Proficiency in AGA CAD, Revit, and Bluebeam systems.
• Competency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Office 365 Worklet Apps.

This position will report directly to the VDC Manager.
