What You'll Do
- Lead the Design:
Own the full architectural suite—from programming and planning to demo plans, elevations, and construction details. - Execute & Oversee:
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they stay on schedule, within budget, and compliant with all MN codes (IBC, Life Safety, etc.). - Consult & Partner:
Act as the primary architectural point of contact for clients, translating their needs into technical reality. - Mentor:
Provide work direction and guidance to Architectural Designers and CAD Drafters, fostering a culture of excellence. - Administer:
Handle construction administration, including site visits, submittal reviews, and RFI management to ensure design intent is met in the field.
Who You Are
- Licensed Professional:
You hold a bachelor's degree in Architecture and a current Minnesota License (NCARB preferred). - Experienced:
You have 7–10 years of experience in commercial and industrial architectural design. (Bonus points if you have experience with 3M drawings!) - Tech-Savvy:
You are an expert in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office. - A Communicator:
You can explain complex architectural concepts to non-technical stakeholders and build instant credibility with clients. - Detail-Obsessed:
You take pride in "bulletproof" construction documents and code compliance.
Compensation:
- $50 to $75 per hour depending on qualifications.
- Benefits: 401(k), Health insurance, HSA, Dental insurance, Life insurance, Vision insurance, PTO, and holidays.
- Time and a half after 40 hours (optional overtime).
