Are you a highly skilled Cardiovascular Surgeon passionate about saving lives and advancing patient care? We are seeking an experienced Surgery Cardiovascular Physician to join our dedicated team in a fast-paced, trauma-ready environment.

What You Will Bring
- Proven proficiency in cardiothoracic and vascular surgical procedures, including CABG, valve repairs, TAVR, carotid endarterectomy, and congenital heart surgeries
- Strong knowledge of aortic aneurysm and dissection repair, atrial fibrillation surgeries, LVAD implantation, and minimally invasive techniques
- Excellent clinical judgment, attention to detail, and ability to handle complex cases efficiently
- Ability to adapt to a variety of cases with flexibility and professionalism
- Effective communication skills and a team-oriented approach
Experience with minimally invasive and robotic surgeries is desirable but not mandatory.
Required Skills
- Valid Minnesota medical license or IMLC certification
- Certification in Surgery Cardiovascular or equivalent specialty certification
- Demonstrated experience with cardiovascular surgery techniques and procedures
- Ability to work in a high-volume trauma setting with a flexible schedule
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Experience with TAVR and structural heart procedures
- Familiarity with thoracoscopic and minimally invasive cardiac surgeries
- Background in managing complex cases such as heart failure surgery or congenital repairs
- Ability to perform standby procedures for TAVR and vascular interventions
Education and Experience
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 3-5 years of post-residency experience in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery
- Prior experience working in trauma or tertiary care facilities
- Availability to start as early as January 12, 2026;
January 1 start preferred but not guaranteed - Willingness to participate in 24/7 on-call rotation, including day and overnight shifts
- Successful completion of background checks and submission of a complete application file
- BLS, ACLS, and additional board certifications preferred
- Willingness to work on a Level II Trauma team and facilitate emergent procedures
Hourly Pay Rate: $322.34
