Radiology - Pediatric Radiology Faculty

Job Responsibilities

We are seeking an A  or AO  certified or eligible radiologist with fellowship training in pediatric and/or adult radiology for a faculty position in our Division of Interventional Radiology.

• Experience and demonstrable ability in clinical interventional procedures.
• Strong interpersonal skills and an interest in research.
• General pediatric work with our current interventional radiologists, with opportunities for program development and innovation.
• Perform procedures using state-of-the-art equipment, including one biplane and two single-plane rooms, MR-guided procedures in an intra-operative 1.5T scanner adjacent to the IR suites, and a hybrid IR/OR suite.
• Document patient care on appropriate records and implement innovative approaches to patient care, including disease-specific expert consultation, examination, coordination of services, and development of patient-specific care plans.
• Teach and supervise medical students, residents, and fellows, including bedside teaching, lecture preparation, and involvement in curriculum committees.
• Participate in service and administration, including program development, committee work, faculty coverage, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Engage in scholarly activities such as publication of clinical investigations, clinical trials, and manuscript reviews, as well as design and conduct of clinical research and grant acquisition.

• Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), or equivalent.
• Unrestricted licensed physician.
• Approval/credentialing from CCHMC Medical Staff Services Division.
• Completion of all required pre-employment activities.
• Assistant Professor appointment or eligibility.
• Completion of fellowship training in pediatric and/or adult radiology (preferred).
• Board certification or eligibility (A  or AO , preferred).
• Experience in clinical interventional procedures, especially in pediatric radiology.
