Plastic Surgeon
Repair, reconstruction or replacement of physical defects of form or function involving the skin, musculoskeletal system, craniomaxillofacial structures, hands, extremities, breasts and trunk, and external genitalia. This position will be based out of the St. Paul and Woodbury Markets for our East Region.

- 1.0 FTE Plastic Surgeon
- Locations:
United Hospital and Woodbury Clinic - 8-hour day shifts
- Alternate weekend plan
- Shared call model with United Plastic surgery partner.
Principle Responsibilities
- Works collaboratively with patients to improve their health and well-being.
- Practices in a thoughtful manner including consideration for cultural diversity, individual autonomy and legal responsibilities.
- Actively participates in multidisciplinary team approach to case management.
- Utilizes quality improvement tools to develop processes that promote continuous improvement in delivery of patient care, patient outcomes, or workflows.
- May participate in peer review and quality assurance.
Job Requirements
- MD, DO, or foreign equivalency training required
- Board certified in Plastic Surgery with 2-3 years' experience preferred/Completion of an accredited ACGME Plastic Surgery residency
- General Plastic Surgery opportunity with emphasis on Breast and General Reconstruction
- Interest in Micro-Surgical Breast Reconstruction preferred
- Breast reconstruction experience
- Skin cancer reconstruction experience
- Coordinated reconstruction with orthopedics, vascular and oncology partners
- BE/BC with ABMS or AOA required
- Active, non-restricted medical license in MN (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- Ability to meet criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and hospital privileges, if applicable
- BLS/ACLS required within 180 days of hire
Physical Demands Medium Work*:
Lifting weight Up to 32 lbs. occasionally (

Pay Range: $561,750 to $611,500 per year
The pay described reflects the starting base pay range, assuming a full-time FTE. Your starting rate will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable).
