The Facility
The Montevideo VA Clinic is a Community-Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) within the St. Cloud VA Health Care System, providing primary care and mental health services to Veterans in western Minnesota. The clinic delivers accessible, patient-centered care in a modern outpatient facility.

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to Veteran patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions
- Perform patient assessments, physical examinations, and develop individualized care plans
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results
- Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with established protocols
- Coordinate patient care with specialists, nursing staff, and ancillary services
- Document all patient encounters accurately and timely in the electronic health record
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer review activities
- Provide patient education on disease prevention, wellness, and self-management
- Ensure compliance with VA clinical practice guidelines and standard operating procedures
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine (ABIM) or Family Medicine (ABFM)
- Active, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state
- Active DEA registration
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
- NPI number
- Minimum 2 years of primary care experience preferred
Schedule
- Full-Time (1 FTE available)
- Monday – Friday, standard business hours
